Pro tip thread: Hidden keyboard shortcuts in dispatch view

Good finds. Adding a few:

• T — toggles between day/week/month view
• Ctrl/Cmd + F — opens the job search filter (faster than clicking)
• 1-5 — quick filters by job priority when search box is closed

Pro tip: Hold Shift while dragging a job to copy instead of move. Useful for recurring similar jobs.

Hi! I'm so sorry if this is a silly question but I tried pressing the ? key and nothing happened for me? I'm on a Mac using Chrome if that matters. I also tried Shift+? and that just typed a question mark. Maybe I'm in the wrong screen — does this only work on the Dispatch Board or can you use it on the Team Calendar too? I've only been using FieldPulse for about two weeks so I'm still learning where everything is. I was really excited about these shortcuts because I feel like I spend so much time clicking around.

Also is there a full list somewhere I could print out for my desk? That would be so helpful!!

Hey Lindsey — you need to be on the Dispatch Board view specifically, not Team Calendar. Also try clicking on a blank area first to make sure no text field is active, then hit ?. On Mac you shouldn't need Shift, just the ? key by itself.

Pro tip: If you see a question mark typed somewhere, that means a text box has focus. Click outside any job card or search box first.

Don't know about a printable list — maybe someone from FieldPulse can chime in on that.

in my experience half these shortcuts break when you have the job details panel open on the right. the ? one still works but the number keys for priority get eaten by the panel. close it first.

also if you're on the old dispatch UI (some accounts still are) none of this works. you need the "new" board that launched last year.
