  • Yeah this is a known thing. Samsung pushed an update that messed with background notification handling for a bunch of apps. Pro tip: don't just check the app notification settings — you need to dig into **Battery** > **Background usage limits** and make sure FieldPulse isn't set to "Restricted." The One UI 6.1 update changed the default for some apps.

Also worth checking **Settings** > **Apps** > **FieldPulse** > **Mobile data** and confirm "Allow background data usage" is still on. Samsung's been aggressive about "optimizing" this stuff lately.

I've got three teams on mixed Android devices and this fixed it for the Samsungs. Pixel might be different — they handle doze mode their own way.

  • awesome that worked for most of my guys thanks! still got 2 pixels that are stubborn tho anyone know the pixel fix

  • Hi Sam! Happy to help with those Pixel devices. This is indeed related to a recent Android update affecting how apps run in the background.

For Pixel devices, please check these settings:

    1. Open Settings > Apps > FieldPulse > Battery
    2. Set to Unrestricted (not "Optimized")
    3. Go back to Notifications and ensure All FieldPulse notifications are toggled on
    4. Finally, check Digital Wellbeing & parental controls > Focus mode — sometimes this gets enabled accidentally and blocks work apps

If you're still not seeing notifications after this, try logging out and back into the mobile app — this refreshes the device token.
