We are thrilled to open the beta for our new Customer Portal — a self-service hub where your clients can track their own jobs in real time. We know how much time your team spends fielding status calls and "when will they be here?" messages, and we want to give you that time back while keeping your customers in the loop.
What Your Customers Can See
Once you enable the Customer Portal for an account, your clients get a secure, branded link they can access without downloading anything. From there, they can:
- View active and recently completed work orders
- See their assigned technician's name and estimated arrival window
- Track technician location in real time once the technician marks "en route"
- Access job photos and completed checklists after the work is done
- Download invoices and service reports directly
All of this pulls directly from the data your team is already entering in FieldPulse — no double entry required.
How to Join the Beta
We are rolling this out gradually to ensure we can support you properly. If you would like to participate, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or drop a comment below and we will get you set up with early access.
We want to make sure you're set up for success, so we have also prepared a quick guide on rolling out new tools to larger field teams — many of the same principles apply when introducing customer-facing features.
What We Are Learning
Early feedback from our pilot group has been encouraging. Operations managers tell us their dispatch boards are quieter. Technicians report fewer interruptions. And customers? They love the transparency.
We have a few enhancements already on the roadmap based on pilot feedback: appointment rescheduling requests, two-way messaging, and customizable arrival windows. If you have ideas, we want to hear them.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about setup, branding options, or how this fits into your existing customer communication workflow. We are here to help you make the most of it.
