Resetting a Team Member's Password

Hi there! Happy to help you get your team back into their accounts quickly. Whether you're an admin helping someone else or a user locked out of your own account, here's what you need to know.

For Administrators: Resetting a Team Member's Password

As an admin with User Management permissions, you can reset passwords directly from the web app:

  1. Navigate to SettingsTeam Members
  2. Find the user in the list and click their name
  3. Click the Reset Password button in the top right
  4. Choose one of two options:
    • Send reset email: The user receives a secure link to create their own password (recommended)
    • Set temporary password: You create a password the user must change on first login
  5. Click Confirm

Important: If you set a temporary password, share it securely — do not send it via email or chat.

For Users: Resetting Your Own Password

If you can't log in:

  1. On the login screen, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email address and click Send reset link
  3. Check your inbox for an email from FieldPulse (sender: noreply@fieldpulse.com)
  4. Click the link and create a new password that meets your organization's requirements

Reset links expire after 24 hours. If the link expired, just request a new one.
