Happy to help you get push notifications working! Staying on top of job updates in the field is essential, and push notifications ensure you never miss an assignment or status change.
iOS Setup
- Open the FieldPulse app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation.
- Select Notification Settings.
- Toggle Push Notifications to ON.
- When the system dialog appears, tap Allow.
If you previously denied permissions, go to iOS Settings → Notifications → FieldPulse and enable Allow Notifications.
Android Setup
- Open the FieldPulse app on your Android device.
- Tap the Menu (☰) and select Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Ensure Push Notifications is enabled.
- Tap Notification Channels to customize alert types (job assignments, status updates, etc.).
On Android 13+, you may need to grant notification permissions through the system dialog when first opening the app.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Not receiving notifications? Check that Do Not Disturb is off and that FieldPulse has permission to run in the background. On some Android devices, battery optimization settings can delay or block notifications.
- Duplicate alerts? If you're logged into multiple devices, notifications may arrive on each. Sign out of unused devices if this becomes distracting.
- Delay in notifications? Ensure you're on app version 3.2.1 or later — we resolved a sync timing issue in that release.
